TYRE ACTIVATOR for KTS.
If you are scanning tyre monitoring systems with the KTS, this little beauty makes it easy.
On vehicles with tyre pressure monitoring, the KTS and
the tyre valve activator can be used to very quickly assign the wheels in the control unit, saving valuable time.
This assignment is always necessary for tyre valves with a Schrader system.
The expected time for activation of the tyre valves and detection
via the KTS is a maximum of 8 seconds per wheel.
Without the tyre valve activator, the time required for manual sensor
detection and assignment via the KTS can be up to 15 minutes per wheel.
DETECTION PROCEDURE:
1. Move the tyre valve activator into position near schrader valve.
2. Press the activation button briefly on the unit.
3. LED lights up. Retain position. the tyre valve is activated.
4. Communication is established. The procedure of detection is completed.
