Yes, it should do, Bob. It generates a signal that induces the TPMS sensor to ‘phone Home’. This allows you to scan a TPMS system. Otherwise, you will have to wait up to an hour for all 4 (5?) wheels to dial in to the main computer. WHat scan tool are you using?

Great question. These are the larger 3.5″ screens. The 2.5′s are too small to see any detail.
